Location Liverpool Street Station
Date 20 August 2002
Circumstances    Not a true find at all, but a useful addition to any passport photo collector's collection.

A chat with a photo booth mechanic.  The very men who keep the machinery and its associated wizardry alive.

He voluntarily gave me test pictures of himself and a number of pictures of one of his colleagues.

I also picked up some old scraps of photo paper, including a very attractive red coloured one:click me

He told me stories and confirmed that some photo DO get stuck in machines.

If he had given me any such photos (I didn't ask if he had any) they would not have been true finds.

In some ways taking them straight from the booth mechanics is an 'easy win' and does not give the same buzz as finding one randomly out and about.

If it hadn't been for my no milk, egg, wheat, chocolate, sugar, cheese, alcohol, tea and coffee (anti-allegen) diet I would not have been in Liverpool Street to begin with.
