Circumstances:
Feeling pretty ill trying to go to an Oftel meeting. Central Line trains were cancelled Eastbound. Luckily I was going West, but there'd still be a knockon effect.
Saw £10 on the floor by the ticket booth. Took it to a London Underground employee who said I should speak to a man in the window.
The man in the window said take it the Supervisor's office, last door on the left on platform 1 (pictured above).
No-one answered the door.
I had tried my best (and wasted 10 minutes). I had a meeting to attend. I kept the £10. What more could I do ?
